reading a paper that uses the common sociological measure of network diversity as the of different occupations in which a person has a social tie. eg, do you have a social tie with someone who is a: teacher, lawyer, janitor, engineer, executive, waiter, artist, investor? wdyt it would be for us and/or crypto twitter?

This is why building a local community is so important Affinity friendships are great But we are wired for complicated proximity friendships which is usually where those cross discipline friendships come from!
