What is one part of your political ideology that you find difficult to defend?

I posted one before but here’s another political ideology of mine that I don’t really expect people to understand 

I think that balancing privacy and security is challenging because enhancing security often requires measures that infringe on personal privacy(no I do not work for the government)😭

Yeah my friend who worked in intelligence sees this very black and white

“We are the good guys, privacy is less important than winning” 

I don’t agree but I see his point

Yeah privacy is a core right but if we compromise it too much for security, we might undermine the very freedoms we're meant to protect don’t you think?
That’s why people in security imo are given the tough jobs
