zora’s the best place to start, fun simple user friendly contracts and catalog/ sound(dot)xyz to explore more.

Start by setting up manifold and learning the basics of provenance.. what is a smart contract.. what is an nft.. etc All these fundamentals. But if they want to mint their first nft manifold is a great way to start. If they want to avoid gas fees for buyer they can use optimism.

sound.xyz, zora.co, and catalog.works for putting the music onchain. Then I would suggest joining Farcaster and sharing the /music on here

Do it, learn animation tools or partner with an artist. Visuals will be paired with everything in the coming future so knowing either how or who can do that is essential. Otherwise, be authentic. Always come with respect to the communities and show love like its going out of style.

my advice is that marketing & promotion are just as important in the web3 scene as it is anywhere else! visuals, bts, context — these are all important pieces to touch on around releases when pushing them in web3 music communities

Join a lot of spaces and spread the word there. Build your community and always find ways to incentivize people to join e.g private listening sessions, reduced ticket costs for events, etc.
