Today I’m excited to announce a new project with @polluterofminds called Orbiter: a dead simple tool for uploading and hosting static sites. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/orbiter

@polluterofminds This looks cool. I’m actually building a new site right now. Would it accommodate a .eth domain like Fleek seemingly does?

Nice!! Yes and no I would say. Fleek I believe would just host the website as a CID which you could then set as the ENS content hash. The only issue with this is you would have to update the content hash every time you update your site, and that can add up in gas costs for eth mainnet. Personally I have my ens content has set as an html file that redirects the user to my actual website. So the flow goes ENS content hash (CID) -> index.html through a public gateway like limo -> my website You could in theory do the same thing except your final “my website” could be a site hosted on orbiter. Overall this issue is actually why I made IPCM, where a smart contract address is the main point of contact instead of a CID: https://ipcm.dev
