does anyone do the “do not have your phone in the bedroom” rule? or has experimented with it and gone back to having the phone in the bedroom bc it didn’t really do anything for you? how has it helped? how is it different from not using the phone after a certain time and still leaving your phone in the bedroom?

i do put my phone aside on my bedside table now, but i dont know how different it would be to leave it outside the room, hmm. glad it's worked so well for you m. previously i would fall asleep holding it and my dad or mom would find it below shoulder or head or whatever when they came to wake me up or just check in in the morning 😂 they knew i'd never place my phone in charging at night bc i'd be watching until the last second of falling asleep, so dad would come in early morning 5-6am put it on charge and leave. good god this is embarrassing to admit lol. now that im alone, and away from everyone, im just in constant fear of missing an important call so even being on DND scares me but ive started doing that few hours a day so i can focus on tasks at hand.
