I agree with Elon Musk that people should not be permanently unpersoned or cast out of society for offensive statements they made on social media and which they later express contrition for. Yet at the same time he is suggesting that the person who reported said statements should suffer this fate and even that they may have somehow committed a crime. I believe in fairness but not in simply inverting the hierarchy and mistreating a new group of people.

Has the guy even apologized or made a public statement? Also there's justifiable grave concern that DOGEs entire process may be tainted by malicious ideologies that Elon seems to flirt with himself.
