As far as I can tell Ethereum is for building things (at least ephemeral things) and Solana is for gambling. Gambling is already a huge and verified popular pastime.

Imo the Solana gambling narrative is overdone by the ETH folks. Coming from someone who is chain agnostic, 98% of tokens, NFTs, staking, etc is gambling It wasn’t about the tech when we were flipping animal pictures, or staking into food tokens either

Helium is pretty solid. I use the service for myself actually. They partnered with T-Mobile for it. Coverage is great and the mapping rewards are a nice plus.

I personally think the mobile experience with the Phantom wallet is the best in crypto (which imo will be key to onboarding). Magic Eden originated on Solana and now is the leading nft exchange across blockchains. Most importantly the L1 has high throughput and has been very reliable for the last year or so. Imo the fragmented L2 experience on ETH leaves a lot to be desired and has growing pains to sort out Someone below mentioned Helium which is an interesting project, I also thought StepN with their move to earn was something unique
