What features could you build into Farcaster to encourage more empathy with other users?

I love this question and think it’s already part of the culture. I feel it based on the level of vulnerability of some of the asks for feedback or help on what we’re learning vs. boasting about what we already know. Anything that continues to reinforce this aspect of the culture will amplify empathy.

I wonder what function community size has on vulnerability? It’s easier to share, ask with in a small group vs on stage in front of an audience. Farcaster (to me) still feels like an underground party, cafe.

Also, this reminds me of differences in culture across countries, where certain qualities are maintained for hundreds or thousands of years. Some countries are far more intentional about protecting and maintaining what they most value about their culture vs. others. It’s a practice.

That’s a good question. I think size is a factor. But I’ve also been thinking a lot about ways we can grow communities while keeping core values and culture intact. A strong foundation and (painfully) slow growth are key in early stages. Once the container is set, like attracts like.
