Honestly in the spirit of capitalism and democracy I don’t really care. 

If the US wants to win, it needs to ship better social apps. 

If people are actually upset about privacy, let them vote.

Is there any argument here or take on the mental impact, focus etc tiktok is having? Should apps really be able to design free-reign even at the detriment of society?

I knowwwwww i knowww and the luddites. But there must be an exception, or rather not ALL tech is good, right? 

On a smaller scale: don’t individuals that spend less time mindlessly scrolling have an advantage?
