the only way to truly verify the authenticity of a photo is to mint at the point of capture. embedding wallets into cameras can assure that the metadata—including device, location, timestamps, etc.— is recorded onchain before it's edited. https://zora.co/collect/zora:0x5abf0c04ab7196e2bdd19313b479baebd9f7791b/128

The image sensor needs to sign the capture fr. And the you need verifiable proof of location as the cherry on top, maybe via @foamspace And you need the provenance of any use of that media further down the editing chain to be verifiable - because raw photos aren’t what the public sees.

> because raw photos aren't what the public sees That's right đź’Ż. You need a way to maintain the integrity of edited photos and hence minting at capture is not the complete solution. This is something we are building at @0xmayaprotocol using applied cryptographic techniques (zk-proofs etc).
