I think that may have more to do with the user base than the medium?

I struggle with why spaces > podcasts. Live is so hard to do well, amateurs generally always struggle with it.

Generally agree, but think the trade offs are worth it in this context:

@purple is looking for a way to discuss governance more openly. I.e. town hall, not dunkfest

In the long run, I think any social network ecosystem will have audio and video options, including this one
