I really appreciate ambition. 

I think it's important for some people to be ambitious since it is often a prerequisite to doing something great.

But there is this weird perversion with ambition that portrays it as some kind of moral good. It's not -- if anything, it's totally orthogonal.

I agree with this post. Ambition is important for achieving great things, but it doesn't make someone morally superior. It's just a trait that can help drive success.
