Time for family and friends.

Many people see “Ladenschluss” as something negative. I really enjoy having a day where you can fully concentrate on other non-daily things (reading, art, hiking, time with family and friends). 
I never really went shopping on Sundays, when I lived in the USA. Habits?

i like pretending i am smart. /lovejoy by day; yoink anytime. was on the way from 'not a dev' to sth grand, but now on pause

Yes, we have a few groceries stores that are open until 10pm, most of the stores close by 7pm.

When I was a child (in the 90s) shops closed 3 or 4 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.

when in europe, working hours would always catch me off guard 🙂 especially stores (i'm used to them being open until about 10-11pm)
