when in europe, working hours would always catch me off guard 🙂 especially stores (i'm used to them being open until about 10-11pm)

Yes, we have a few groceries stores that are open until 10pm, most of the stores close by 7pm.

When I was a child (in the 90s) shops closed 3 or 4 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.

i also loved the spanish vibe where you'd go to the cafe —  it would be closed with a  sign “the weather is too good, so we are not working today” or something 😅a lot of small family businesses there
