In my opinion, @balajis.eth  continues the ideas and concepts set out in "The Sovereign Individual" and gives an updated/current version. (Adapted to current technological and political/social developments) 

My recommendation is if you read the book "The Sovereign Individual" also read/listen to Balaji's tweets and podcasts.

The Internet is a globally integrated market, and everyone really is in competition (and collaboration!) with everyone else.

After all: your followers are global, your customers are global, your supply chain is global, and your contractors are global.
