If you don't have a multisig or social recovery wallet, imo the next best is to split up your seedphrase with a "poor man's 2-of-3": chunk 1 is top + middle, chunk 2 is middle + bottom, chunk 3 is bottom + top. We could even use the kind of paper that people use to sign two copies of a form at the same time for this:

Any one of the pages only has 4 of words missing. Is that brute forceable? I remember reading about some impressive brainwallet cracks years ago…

What I mean is if this becomes popular, someone will make a seed phrase completer program (like John the Ripper etc) and it may become equivalent to just storing 3 full copies of your seed phrase in 3 different places.

Yeah it’s only around 33 bits of entropy so starting to be like storing 3 copies of full seed. This method is best for 24 or even 36 word seeds. https://warpcast.com/clun.eth/0x2ff3b2
