1. I made this bid on a whim too late at night. TBH I'm kind of relieved to have my 400 bucks back. 2. My biggest misgiving about this DAO is that it's almost irrecoverably tribal. It's the spiteful child of @farcasteradmin.eth's rage quit, and so unavoidable defined more by what it's not that what it is.

3. Even just taking the same schtick of @purple and simply adding a plus is pretty awkward IMO. Imagine having to explain this weird beef to new casters a couple months from now.

4. For the 18 hours or so that I thought I was going to end up winning the auction, I did start to think about how I might be able to help make the @purpler actually interesting. I was going to lean into it dammit. 5. As of now though I'll be happy to just observe and comment.

6. I should give @purpler some credit for the retroactive funding model, that is solid, and it should be front and center. 7. When @purpler gets interesting images that change from day to day, then I'll start bidding again. Maybe I'm being a stickler, but it really is a deal breaker for me.
