Warpcast is stopping warp rewards for hub runners. - There are plenty of hubs, well above target (382 vs target of 100) - Rewards are driving people to run more hubs on slow hardware - This is making the network slower for everyone We'll turn off rewards for a month to see where the steady state lands, and revisit.

Was this ever in the “we anticipate” or “design for” or “incentives” conversations? Asking purely because this feels like something that could have gone either way. Personal curiosity I guess.

Didn’t expect 600 hubs to be started to earn 10 warps a week each.

Probably not even worth it to turn your hub off if all you’re losing is 10 warps
