My favorite fidgets, a photo essay. 

1. Keys on a carabiner. Basic, not that satisfying, but they'll do in a pinch.

2. Juggling. Pretty involved. Not acceptable for video calls, but good for clearing your head or doing some background processing.

3. Airpods case. Almost always nearby. Very satisfying clicky clacky opening sound.

4. Bigger biner. Open it, close it, spin the lock. Not bad.

5. one of these things. The broccoli of fidgets: good for you and somewhat enjoyable.

6. chinese jingle bells or whatever they're called. Enjoy the gentle ringing sound, or try to keep them separated and silent. Very nice.

7. The omega fidgets, the 3x3 rubiks cube. Must be a half decent speed cube to be properly satisfying.

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.

They have come along way from their humble beginnings keeping rock climbers from falling to their death.

This explains why I have friends who are super into having carabiners with them at all times.

keys are such a classic! always there when you need 'em, even if they’re not the most exciting 😂
