Do you think open-source projects should have telemetry built in?

I moved most of my notes, todos, and planning to Apple Notes. I'm predisposed to over-engineer and systematize so I've learned to start with zero structure and let the structure emerge over time.

"Fully" managed infrastructure -- there's a distinction I'm trying to nail down between a managed service like RDS/Postgres -- you still have to think about replicas, upgrade windows, monitoring and something with zero-SRE like Lambda/S3 https://i.imgur.com/DF0025f.png

Back when Codex/GH Copilot was released, I imagined that it would be useful to train on the merge conflict/request data. This model doesn't quite do that, but it's getting closer https://carper.ai/diff-models-a-new-way-to-edit-code/

Built EVM and RPC infrastructure from the ground up in Go. The major differences: (1) not designed for archival nodes -- much simpler and efficient because only executes contracts with rules at HEAD. (2) better tracing/debuggability primitives Thinking about releasing under MIT or Apache. Any interest?

Prompt engineering shouldn't exist. Why prompt engineering is really a systems engineering problem (we've seen this before) https://matt-rickard.com/prompt-engineering-shouldnt-exist
