I am trying to write a memo about /tortoise but my thoughts are zooming too fast for me to catch them. If you have a perspective on what Tortoise is, what problems it solves, and why it exists, please share! Also ask me questions you have any I find that very helpful for organizing my thoughts too

Try using ChatGPT as a brain storming backboard. Itβs pretty wild how well it works. I canβt answer these questions because I have no idea what it is other than a music platform that you upload music to. What does it do? Why should you use tortoise over other similar platforms? What is the vision and goal? Why have a token? What is it used for? How will tortoise improve the music industry? How does it enable better distribution? Good FAQ style questions to answer first imo

maybe it would help to write an email to 5 different people explaining them what it is: 1) your high school teacher 2) your mother 3) jp 4) a potential investor 5) your future self then send these 5 pieces of writing to claude and ask it to create a pitch deck based on them

For me it solves the problem of not being able to upload/mint my music anywhere. The web2 platforms just steal from artists, and other web3 platforms that I tried wouldn't approve me as an artist for whatever reason. It's awesome that I can easily upload and share a track and it's out there for others to enjoy π€
