After digging into a bit, seems like there are two decent options for gifting crypto in small amounts to children that aren't yours: 1. ETFs in custodial / UTMA accounts (no ETH yet!) 2. Onchain custody route (multisig w/ parents) Details and reasoning below, what am I missing?

I’m trying to do this for a charter school I’m on the board of, and I want to get some lightweight education about how to manage it: have you started any documentation yet?

For our little one, I've set up a safe wallet on ETH, with 2 multisign ( Me + Wify). I also arranged for a monthly wire transfer from my bank account to MTPellerin. This way, MTPellerin automatically exchanges my euros for ETH and directly sends it to the safe wallet, all without needing any manual intervention.

The tax event is to you on the gift, right? Or does the child incur a taxable event on receipt?

I really like this idea. I'm also working up a few use cases for people who don't want to manage their own crypto. I'm trying to get them involved by educating them about the possibilities, but it has proven to be difficult.
