The world is full of no’s and reasons to keep things the way they are so for sure you can’t be an entrepreneur if you don’t lean more optimistic. As you know, there’s so much 💩 you have to deal with as a founder so having that optimism that you can bend the world to your perspective is definitely an unlock.

I read this as seeing the world in its entirety, potential and all. Seeing the potential is seeing something doesn't yet exist in actuality, so in a way it's optimistic.

Seeing it clearly is a great way to execute / implement while slightly biased optimistic viewpoint is a great way to figure out “what” to execute, albeit subconsciously

isn’t this part of clear vision? ie. intentional but temporary self delusion for material gains (not opening your eyes or Pandora’s box till later) (material gains can be altruistic)
