trying a new cardio workout focused on staying in zone 2 (133-144). it’s weirdly like the movie speed but it’s your own body. unnatural pace to maintain this (like a half trot)

what's the motivation/reasoning behind doing this, as opposed to doing classical cardio with higher bpm?

I read somewhere that theory goes: higher zones burn carbs lower zones burns fat. Not sure I totally buy it. The classic understanding is carbs in bloodstream burn first and then body works off of fat.
