Really looking forward to a good discord-like client

For parallel instant messaging for channels

A lot of the time I just want to ask/say something but know how little of a response it will get if left up to general discoverability of unpopular channels

would be a great place for the terminally online to discuss

Also incredible addressable market as your app technically inherits the entire channel follower list as users in that "server"

Then you just need to make it interesting enough that the distribution from the frames leads back to something that grows 

And isn't just ephemeral engagement (big pain point pre multistep)

The summaries then become concentrated value that is published to Farcaster enabling much higher signal conversation to happen here

The more I think about the more I want this

Not to mention the greater opportunity to discover like minded people regardless of their social status/engagement

I've met so many sick cunts in gcs

Better discoverability of people = better experience everywhere on farcaster

Another potential flywheel is the discovery of content in a conversational environment - someone adding additional context to something in the case of information asymmetry might make a good post that goes unnoticed a great post that goes viral in that sub pocket

worth noting that that dm's will never reach parity with something like this - it needs to be dedicated.

TG will never be the ideal solution - way to noisy but social graph go 🫠 

Could tie in neat frame features too that surface engaging conversations or provide summaries like so many TG/Discord bots do

Yep would really help there!

Totally modular UI for the user to create their own space for what matters to them and maybe a terminal like interface where you see it all in one place to know where you can jump in would be really neat too

Feel like this would work really well for some of the communities on FC that have multiple channels like /openventures & /degendao.

It would be nice to have discord like chats for sure
