I don't even get how this is

1) Going to work, TGs wallet isn't globally available

2) Going to be enforced? Mini apps can be distributed pretty permissionlessly - you lose a few features opting for this , likely becomes more painful over time

Preferential programs for TON apps would be understandable 

An exclusivity deal that kills half of your current apps that aren't transferable to an obscure blockchain disconnected from everything their app relies on - smort guys smort

There's a infinite rolodex of tools to ensure user safety on the chains that they just cut out 

Adding more wallet types would be trivial 

This is a "this is my playground" arbitrary chain KPI bumping extraction tactic

isn't this also an attempt to keep a handle on the UX tho? Most users won't have a clue what's happening under the hood and a crappy chain could make Telegram seem crap.

Ultimately I think farcaster standard wins, twitter will probably pop up for awhile with less chain bias but same counterparty risk as TG
