gmatcha! 5th stop in nyc @ matchaful i got the oishii berry iced matcha latte and a matcha donut the latte was made with strawberry puree so tasted more like a smoothie very fresh and matcha was strong! @matchaxyz | matcha.xyz

hmmm i would say it tastes really smooth and like silkier and slightly sweeter in the uk but here abit watered down i’m convinced its the milk

interesting, thank you! from my experience, most north american cafes fail at matcha lattes in one of two ways: 1) too milky and tastes watered down, not enough matcha flavour or 2) not sweet enough, needs at least a little simple syrup imo

yes!!! i completely forgot about the syrups 1883 maison routin syrups are used in my fave matchas at home!! i think has a big impact
