what is up with people quote casting responses that should be replies

i will not answer a question in a quote cast that should be a reply, just reply to my cast so i don't have to follow a million more conversations in different threads it's already hard enough 😭 😭 😭

I think it depends on the reply… anything conversational should definitely stay on the original post but if you’re using it as a prompt to write your own longer thing then I think a quote is valid

but if you're quote casting a food pic i posted and asking "how did the meal taste?" like come on...just reply my dudes

yeah i'm talking about these kinds of quote-replies (a new term yay), not genuine additions to the conversation in a different context (dif context as in the quote caster's profile/audience, a different channel, etc)
