yeah I get that angle too, makes sense but then you end up going down the rabbit hole of guns and physical security which is maybe (?) worse for the average person, unsure

yeah maybe for someone with $5k or $10k in crypto it’s a good exercise and mind expanding for sure but $100k+ becomes a literal nightmare to self-custody

about what? having your keys on a ledger doesn’t help you if there’s a gun to your temple, that’s the risk with self-custody smart contract risk and not letting keys touch the internet is table stakes, the rest is the hard part
