if you find store bought cream cheese underwhelming like I do, you can just add lemon rind + juice, olive oil, and dill. it takes on a much lighter texture, closer to whipped. in this case we used Riviera cream cheese but would work with anything

very easy and effective! basically need to decide how light you want it and adjust lemon juice and olive oil accordingly

i’m about to try this w a bunch of scallions as an alternative, just made some ranch yesterday w the dill i had left :)
