that’s a pretty surface level take.

the most followed / promoted people on FC are the ones who were earliest.

the majority of them are startup founders or builders, with full-time jobs or teams or families.

CT meta and memecoins require a ton of attention. to be good at it. you have to be locked in to it. 

but most of the large, early accounts on FC are busy building their own companies or families; they don’t have time to get in the weeds on the CT meta.

the best CT accounts are self-employed where the meta is a deep part of their job. it’s insanely impressive. i wish i could do it.

both are locked in, but on different things.

I think @ted’s nuanced take here is quite accurate and points to a great opportunity for true CT natives to bring that knowledge/culture over to purple app.

imo there would be a great audience for someone who could summarize the chaos of CT succinctly for folks who mostly or only hang on FC.

Agreed, but it feels like this kind of niche can be better filled by an aixbt-like LLM posting to Farcaster than by a human. The opportunity exists, but the window is narrow!

Agreed. Just the other day @darrylyeo and I were talking about the value that could be found in arbitraging info from CT to FC.

It worked out well for me in this case, at least. I'm all-in FC; the only time I even look at Twitter is to read things shared on the purple app.
