not a beginner machine imo, personally would get a Rancilio Silvia and get really good at prepping shots. La Marzocco is a much better experience and a joy to use, but you won’t really appreciate that if you’ve never used a single boiler machine.

+1 to this. bought the rancilio silvia on black friday. total beginner, and i can pull pretty decent espresso shots now. it’s wild how much technique & patience it takes - dialing in the grind, tamp and shot time is finicky af, but when you nail it? absolutely worth it.
