has anyone written long-form about the threads user acquisition strategy? anytime IG tries to lure me to threads it’s always awful polemic ragebait along the lines of “here’s why pc is better than mac” i.e. extremely tired old internet fights that are presented as pointless binaries

threads is basically a combination of the worst parts of reddit (miserable complaining about everything) and IG (virtue signaling about current events)
