I'm planning to offer a monthly sponsorship for @event, and it would be helpful to show # of impressions for the frames alongside engagement. Problem is view counts are shown in the UI, but not via API. But it would be really helpful if say, for a given cast hash and time period, I could call an API and get a view count for Warpcast (and other clients) Thoughts? Would this help anyone else?

I’d set cache ttl of 0 on your frame image response and then count requests to that. No coordination required. Available now.

My 2c is it’s a lot easier to just fetch this data from a Warpcast API(given that exists) than for every client to reach consensus over what a true view is, that seems like one of the more difficult cross-client things to be built Agreed that this data is useful too(also things like frame interactions per client/user)

view api would be as incredibly useful as it would be incredibly controversial

Yes! Had requested frame impressions to @dwr.eth and @v since Bountycaster does monthly frame sponsorships

Outside Warpcast, I think this can be done at the middle layer with @neynar and @mbd - just need clients permissions. It is a proxy but a good one.

a possible solution here is to add a query parameter in the end of the frame's URL for each cast while it is being shared. Make sure you add it in the URL in your frame's "share" button if possible. If not just give add something like ?sharedby=matthew in the end of the url. If you do so in the "analytics" tab in Airstack's website there will be separate stats for each query params you add.- chat between a dev and I

This is impressive Matthew! This would benefit others by offering more transparency and data for sponsorships. At the same time, don’t you think introducing an API for such could be an increased focus on metrics-driven content creation, potentially leading to content optimized for higher visibility rather than meaningful engagement?
