memeing a cast with a clanker is one thing, trying to profit off of a project's good will is another. Super sus and scammy.

We are so early /onchain /lp /degen /paidgroup

It is for a few reasons yea:
- even if this person pays noah (which to be clear they said *after the fact*), they still control the contract forever. if the token got massive, that's major leverage they do not deserve over his project.
- there's already a token, so splitting attention could crash the price of the other coin and/or confuse people, which hurts Noah and his game.
- this person might just be messing around, but someone in the future might actually mean harm, and they can do a lot more damage than ppl realize.

If clanker continues to run it'll be the default way to fair launch a token period, so I think it's important that we all figure out the right norms, and that means pushing back when I or others disagree with an action.

Definitely agree that the Pandora's box is opened... that said I do think social consensus / pushing back when we disagree can help the broader space arrive at a net positive equlibrium. But yes will definitely be interesting, we're watching history unfold!

Right or wrong, this is the world we live in now. It's unlikely social consensus will be enough to stop ppl doing this. 

We've also seen this type of thing be a big unlock for projects. Take a look at YouSim / Plastic Labs as an example (someone else launched the token, and its had a massive positive impact on the project). 

Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out ...
