its based on CAIP-19 which specifies that the URI has to include a finalized "asset namespace", like erc721 or erc1155 for NFTs

I don't think there is an ERC for governance contracts so might have to come up with something new

Out of curiosity what are you looking to do?

Given that there’s no standard here, it seems like the nouns.build link should be the canonical one. There’s no guarantee that other daos will have the same interface

I would have done that except I remember there being a URL scheme for some onchain stuff. Figured I'd ask since AFAIK this is the first time someone's creating a channel for a proposal
