How should we refer to FC channels?

f/memes feels too Reddit

f.memes has Usenet vibes. 

And future optionally to do stuff like f.memes.dank or f.memes.wholesome

Sometimes familiar is the best UX. So in that sense f/memes isn’t necessarily bad.

In the same way that many things having twitter vibes is not a problem. 

On the contrary it can be easier for people to quickly ‘get’ the value proposition: “a wow, look, a twitter with reddit aspects!”
