It’s going to be interesting (and possibly tragic) to watch this play out in the US. 

My only hope is that it disproportionately impacts individuals who voted for Trump, and that maybe it’s knocks some sense into them. Unfortunately, these same individuals have historically voted against their own interests, so it’s not super likely. .

As a venezuelan, we did this many times when we knew a devaluation was coming.
