Thirsty Thursday $DEGENS! Searching “Purple Liquor” yielded this beauty: The Purple Halo Ice Sphere: 1-1/2 cups Mountain Valley Spring Water 2 tea bags Butterfly Pea Flower Tea Cocktail: 1-1/2 ounces Exotico Tequila Blanco 5 basil leaves 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice 1/2 ounce agave syrup 2 ounces Mountain Valley Sparkling Essence Blackberry Pomegranate basil leaf for garnish Make the ice cubes by bringing 1 cup of Mountain Valley Spring Water to just under a boil. Add in tea bags & steep 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool. Pour water into sphere molds and freeze overnight. Cocktail: in shaker, muddle basil leaves w/ tequila. Fill shaker 2/3 w/ ice & then pour in lime juice and agave. Shake 20 seconds & strain into an oversized coupe or double rocks glass. Add butterfly pea flower ice sphere & top w/ Mountain Valley Sparkling Essence Blackberry Pomegranate. Garnish w/ basil leaf. Watch as the rings slowly start to form. Got some light workout stuff done at home over the weekend (the gym is too busy on Sat/Sun) but back at it today. Just getting back into the gym swing of things. Pulldown (machine): 3 x 10, 100 Abdominal Crunch: 3 x 10, 40 Triceps Extension: 3 x 10, 80 Torso Rotation: 3 x 10 each side, 100 Calf Extension: 4 x 10, 100 30 minutes level 11 bike

45 Years ago today, the Miracle On Ice happened at the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid. There was also a movie called Lake Placid at some point where Betty White was feeding enormous crocodiles with blindfolded cows. We also saw a cow (or was it two?) being flown around by a tornado in the movie Twister. Tornados did not appear in either of the first two things I mentioned. Happy Sunday, I need coffee. $DEGEN
