I planted this red-flowering currant plant (native to Oregon) as a single twig last fall, and now itโ€™s blossoming. I also set out my mason bee house and cocoons today, so they should start emerging later today/tomorrow as it warms up. Spring is here!!!

Beautiful! Not quite here in my hemisphere. Looking forward to these signs of spring, soon.

I love this time of year. Itโ€™s so grey and colorless in Portland during the winter, and then all the sudden thereโ€™s an explosion of color and floral scents. Itโ€™s amazing (unless you have really bad allergies).

Sounds beautiful. Madison is a month or so behind you. Seems like we often skip spring and go straight to sweltering summer. The colors will start to pop out soon though.
