What have been the most engrossing books you've read i.e. had a hard time putting down?

I relate, I think I was hooked by how different and refreshing it was to other sci-fi I had read. I didn’t know if it was because of the writing style of the author or because I hadn’t read much eastern literature. The type of fun that’s hard but you enjoy

I liked The Three-Body Problem but I found it difficult to read in the beginning because it was slow
