Sometimes I just let Cursor using sonnet or o1 try to figure out what could be causing a bug just by looking at the code and me describing the behavior I'm trying to fix. It has never worked. They still work best for me as auto-complete, stackoverflow and multi-file editors on steroids.

Hmm. I've got it to fix bugs after multiple back and forth with error messages.

have you tried using agent mode? lets it do those iterations without any interrupts. If you allow-list (in yolo mode) it running tsc or your tests it can be super effective
