I wish the monetization model for meme tokens revolved around a 0.5% trading fee rather than team allocation sometimes

Fees like this have been mostly used in scam projects, but if they’re upfront they allow a team to be funded in ETH (without negative sell pressure on a token) to then invest in the project It does incentivize volume rather than price but those really go hand in hand

That would def be ideal or at least something better than an allocation

Some are in fact reflection token (Gloom was) or have tax (Toshi and mochi had) but the problem is most traders or investors don’t like them. I loved the tax as it was honorable money for the treasury measuring a real kpi. What if team gets token if users lock for longer periods?

Well, yes, but isn’t the zero-fee model one of the incentives for using the tokens?
