also worth noting that @brileigh and I have 102-megapixel photos of our faces before starting these masks (and retinol), so we can before/after results in a few months if anyone is curious. (the fact that we did this should surprise nobody)

that’s intense, but good science-ing. do you have a medium format camera?

yes we do! Fuji GFX 100S. we both come from a photography background, so that’s why we have such a serious camera haha.

so sick, didn’t know anybody here was rocking a GFX. might get the 100 II or 100S II next year. and yeah I sorta know what you mean. I used to shoot mostly 8x10 and 4x5, so the experience is really different. imo the results are very comparable and even better in some ways, but you do lose the meditative process.

oh, i meant i also have a photography background haha. i love the film developing process. was thinking about getting set up to develop b&w at home then just scanning the negatives. my darkroom equipment went to a museum long ago

haha okay, fair enough! definitely relate on the dev process, fondly remember doing hand dev for 4x5 sheets back in the day. never did colour though, too complex. if you need scanning tips let me know, I used to run a boutique drum scanning service.
