did anyone notice earthquakes today in the pnw? the one i felt was less rumble and more boom. i thought it might be an explosion

makes me think of the last couple times i felt something similar…

there was an incredible thunderstorm last year that passed right over me at night. the sonic booms from each strike shook the bed so much it was like bombs were going off all around the house. i tried to watch for the lightning but each strike was so bright that everything just went pure white. it felt like i received some kind of ionic cleanse 

another time there was a huge mystery boom during the day with no obvious cause. turned out to be a road crew detonating extra dynamite! it was pretty wild. apparently the explosion was larger than expected

hopefully that’s it for booms for awhile

Last time I heard a boom around here it was about 4 years ago. Pieces landed about 5 miles from here.
