what is the point of posting in a channel if it gets you zero extra distribution outside of your followers? except for on channel pages which no one checks. see thread

If your mental mode of Farcaster is Twitter, and you’re a user just looking for a distribution boost, there’s little reason to use channels But other experiences can and will be built on top of channels outside of Warpcast.

if people who follow a channel only see posts from people who they already follow in their main feed, then channels are a lot less interesting
