Just a reminder: If you're in NYC next week, @alexandrajovanic and myself have a show Museum of the Moving Image, curated by @reginaharsanyi and opening March 6th. RSVP for the opening panel talk with @aart, Regina, Roopa Vasudevan and myself. 🎈 https://movingimage.org/event/compositions-in-code-the-art-of-processing-and-p5-js/

Thanks, man. Used to do these all the time, but it feels like a special bonus now. 🙏 I’ll be doing my Exploder wall drawing with artist tape, that’s always a blast. Three days drawing wireframes on the wall is going to a change of speed. 🤗

I remember those days when you did very well. We used to cross paths. It was always a blast. I also miss the days when doing this kind of work wasn’t 100% weighed down by endless reflections and debates on 'the market'. Not that earning money from art is bad, it's just now it has got a little bit too one-sided. Where the fuck is the critical debate? The old skool festivals rocked in that area. An Exploder, eh? 🖤 Please can you post some work-in-progress photos while you set the piece up.

100% agree. Especially now that the bubble is over and most artists are back to the old hustle of relying on galleries and platforms. 2021 was wild, but I kept telling people you need a sustainable practice that can survive 5-10 years. Money is necessary, but not a good measure of quality. I sure miss the old media art festivals! 😅
