OFF Festival 2007 (Bcn) catalogue. Featuring among others: John Maeda, Frank Bertschneider/Raster Noton, Zach Lieberman & Golan Levin. . Personal Note: 2006&2007 OFFFestivals had a big impact in me. At the time I wast "just" a fresh junior graphic designer, and there I saw for the first time Interactive/Generative art / audioreactive live visuals, and decided that I wanted to explore coding and Interactive media in the future. Among others I saw talks by Robert Hodgin, Casey Reas, John Maeda. A performance with weird interface by Golan Levin & Zach Lieberman and a RasterNoton Live AV Showcase.

ohh no. Unfortunately I dont rem remember any workshop with those four at the same time !! I remember them on the main stage, but not at the same time!

I have an old Flickr album of it. Here's Ben, Golan and Casey - still in their early 30s. 😍 flickr.com/photos/watz/albums/72057594130242973 It was an advanced Processing workshop, we all did presentations and tutorials and then people worked on their own projects. Also, Zach showed an early version of openFrameworks. My memories are kind of mixing up 2006 and 2007, but I went to my vid/pics folder and I found an archive from 2007, and it is full of treasures. Like this Duo talk with Neville Brody vs Joshua Davis (big studio vs independent studio), where Neville Brody presented himself as "David Carson" 😅

Amazing, that is a piece of history. I recognized the space: Hangar ☺️ !! I used to go there when I lived in Barcelona (2008/2010). Also recognized in Arturo in the photos. He used to organized Openframeworks workshops&meetings in Hangar (I never managed to jump to OF !!)
