Already seen AI artwork labeled simlly as “generative art”, so I applaud the effort. My concern would be that algorithmic art sounds even more dry? I’ve played with rule-based / aleatory, parametric immediately sounds like math class. 😅 50 $DEGEN

Agree it sounds a bit dry. But it’s growing on me. To me it just makes more and more sense. The core distinctive idea is not that this type of art is generative, but that there’s intention about the algorithms, and artists control them to get the output they want.
