Who would have thought Trump launching a memecoin could be bearish for Ethereum? I’m probably just in my feelings rn, but I have a hard time seeing how this doesn’t make Solana the main choice for new crypto buyers.

all Ai tokens on Solana are equally down. This is a real-time case study of the power of liquidity which is at the end of the day the real market cap of a coin...once all the froth exits the room, whether in panic or FOMO. Taking a systemic view, this is bad for the earnest effort of 1000s of people in this space to build a better decentralised future on permissionless chains. I don't hate Solana, but it is not the same as Ethereum!

I think so yup because have you checked the market right now the Solana price is increasing and the all crypto market is dumping but the sol is still standing to the game and that's the weird thing for the eth 🫣

Yeah, I’m still not sure what’s going on/what to think about it. Right now I see it as just sucking up A TON of liquidity on Sol, and tanking a lot across sol/eth. I’m buying the dip on eth as an opportunity. I definitely agree that this will attract a ton of people to Sol, but what happens in 24,48 hour, 1 month? Will this stick up or will it crash once money starts getting pulled out. Will those people stay in crypto, stay in sol? Or winners and losers explore more throughout all chains?
